Therapy to help you stop holding everything and start caring for yourself

If you’ve been carrying most of the emotional load for a long time, it makes sense that life feels heavy. You’re often the one people rely on - the thoughtful, capable person who notices the mood in the room before anyone has spoken. From the outside you look fine. Inside you may feel tired, anxious, or unsure. You might replay conversations, steady others while ignoring your own needs, or feel guilty when you try to rest. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to hold everything together. A slower space to notice what’s underneath the doing, and to begin tending what you need.

What we focus on (gentle, practical, nervous-system aware)

We go at your pace. There’s no pressure to explain or “fix” everything right away.  Together we might explore:

What your body and nervous system are doing when anxiety rises - understanding how protection can feel like criticism.

• Patterns of over-responsibility that once kept you safe but now feel exhausting.

• How to recognise and name your needs without guilt, so you can act from choice rather than obligation.

• How to feel steadier in relationships - less reactivity, more honest presence.

Building trust in your own voice and decisions, step by small step. The aim isn’t to change who you are. It’s to make space for the person you already are - with more ease, self-compassion, and freedom from constant doing.

Who I work with

I work with women who carry a lot: the ones who tend, organise, soothe, and hold others - often while being quietly hard on themselves.

Many describe themselves as reliable and caring, but also exhausted by people-pleasing, guilt, or constant second-guessing.

You’re welcome here if you:

• Notice yourself feeling responsible for others’ feelings

• Find it hard to say no or ask for help without guilt

• Are often anxious, overthinking, or exhausted from performing calmness

• Long to feel more grounded, rested, and confident in your choices

If this feels like you, I offer a free 20–30 minute introductory call to talk about what’s been hard and whether we might be a good fit. No pressure - just a chance to hear each other and answer any practical questions.

Book a free call below or email me at navigatinglifetherapy@pm.me if you prefer.

We’ll go one step at a time.

Sarah is fantastic at listening in a non-judgemental way...she has really helped me in a short space of time and would recommend her to anyone who does not know where to get started with therapy.

Thank you so much Sarah. You have really helped me know myself better and given me many tools to move forward positively.

Sarah is so easy to speak to. She really makes me feel heard and understood and provides practical support whilst not putting pressure on me to do anything I’m not comfortable with.
